Samsung seem to be keen to get into the “Pro” tablet market especially since Apple have made their entry with the iPad Pro as well. New photos surfaced online reveal a large tablet from Samsung that is powered by Windows.

The tablet is being referred to as the TabPRO S and comes with its own keyboard dock just like the Microsoft Surface. Rumours point to a 12″ SuperAMOLED screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels or 3840×2400 pixels.

The tablet will run on Windows 10 and will be powered by an Intel Core M processor with 4GB of RAM. It will also support an S Pen input that should really help improve productivity.

Generally, the Galaxy lineup is reserved for Android devices while the Windows devices are called ATIV so the final name might be different unless Samsung has decided to merge them into one lineup.

There is also the possibility of having a dual-boot setup or perhaps two versions – one with Windows 10 and one with Android. We could possibly expect an announcement soon and perhaps as early as their event that is happening just before CES, later today.
