Asus has announced a new Chromebook C202 which has a sturdy body and is designed with aim at students. The Chromebook comes with rubber bumper and has a spill-proof keyboard and scratch-resistant shell.
The device is drop-resistant, backpack-friendly and has a hinge which can be rotated 180-degrees. It sports a 11.6-9 inch screen (1366×768), and is powered by an Intel Celeron chip with 2GB RAM to 4GB RAM and 16GB storage. Battery life for the device is claimed at upto 10 hours. The Chromebook has a modular body which enables you to easily replace parts like the battery, keyboard and power socket. There are two USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI out port and SD card reader.
The Chromebook C202 will ship in February at a price of about $219 to $229 .
