OPPO F1 camera-centric smartphone launching in India on January 28

Earlier this week OPPO announced that it will launch camera-centric ‘F series’ smartphones this year in India, and F1 will be the first phone in the series, which will launch this month. Today the company has sent out invites for the smartphone launch on January 28th.

“The F series is rooted in a growing global demand for premium-quality mobile photography experiences, and in research that has indicated a strong consumer recognition that OPPO shoots great photos. The F series will be a core product series for OPPO in 2016,” OPPO had said earlier. Earlier teaser just showed off its slim metal frame, similar to Oppo A53 that was introduced in China last month.

We should know all the details including the pricing at the launch on January 28th. Sky Li, vice president of OPPO and managing director of International Mobile Business, Mike Wang, OPPO India CEO and David Richardson, CEO, ICC will be present at the event.

[Update: OPPO has confirmed that the OPPO F1 will not be same as the OPPO A53.]
