Dell has refreshed its Latitude 7000 series with two new models – Latitude 13 7000 and Latitude 12 7000. The company has introduced 13-inch business class ultra book with narrow bezels and a 2-in-1 convertible laptop.
The 13 inch Latitude 7000 series ultrabook sports InfinityEdge display with an ultra-thin bezel around the screen. It comes with latest USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 3 jacks, a smartcard reader, a fingerprint reader and an RFID reader. The device that has Windows 10 Pro is powered by 6th-generation Intel Core M processor and a 512GB in solid-state drive (SSD) storage. It features a non-touch Full HD (1920 x 1080) anti-glare display with 400 nits or a QHD (3200 x 1800) touch display with Gorilla Glass and 350 nits. Dell claims upto 10 hours of battery life for the ultrabook that is 14.32mm thin and weighs 2.48 pounds.
The Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 sports a 12.5-inch display that comes in Full HD or 4K touch display options with Gorilla Glass-covered screen and 360 nits. The device weighs just 3.1 pounds and it can be connected with Latitude 12 Keyboard that turns it into a notebook. It comes with 6th-gen Intel Core M processor, 512GB SSD storage and up to 8GB of RAM. Powered by Windows 10 Pro, the 2-in-1 device sports an 8MP rear and 5MP front facing camera. There are 2 USB Type-C ports on the device. It even comes with an optional Active Pen stylus. Finally, the convertible can be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon X7 LTE or HSPA+ modems.
Price for the Latitude 13 7000 Series starts at $1,299 and it will be available beginning March 8, 2016 on Dell.com in the United States while price for the Latitude 12 7000 Series 2-in-1 starts at $1,049 and it will be available beginning early February 2016 on Dell.com in the United States.
