Dell had launched Venue 8 Pro Windows 8.1 tablet in 2014. The company has now introduced the Windows 10 model for the tablet with improved hardware and specifications.
The Venue 8 Pro tablet sports a 8 inch FHD (WUXGA 1920 x 1200) display with touch and is powered by a 2.24 GHz Intel Atom Z8500 processor. Running on latest Windows 10 out of the box, it comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable storage upto 128GB via micro SD card slot. The tablet has bumped the camera resolution on to 2MP front camera and 5MP rear camera. It measures 9.45 x 130x 216mm and weighs 0.83lbs (377.1gm). The tablet sports a USB Type C port, a micro SD card slot and a micro SIM card slot. Battery life on the tabet is 19.5WHr Lithium Ion. Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi 2×2 802.11 AC with Miracast, BT 4.0.
Dell is selling the new Venue 8 Pro for $399 for Windows 10 Home version and the tablet costs $449 for the Windows 10 Pro.
