Earlier this month, Google was testing new colorful design for weather cards in Google Now and search. Now, the company is officially announcing the new weather cards that are vibrant and offers a detailed information on weather conditions.
Google Now will offer new information such as hourly sky conditions, chance of rain, severe weather alerts, a detailed 10-day forecast, air quality, UV index, sunrise and sunset times, and more. It shows weather for today, tomorrow and for the next 10 days in three tabs. Now when you tap on the weather result, you can also save your favorite locations by searching for a new location and selecting “Add.” You will now start seeing your chosen locations in the drop-down in search. The background image in ‘Today’ screen changes based on the weather condition and also features graphic frog that has a cartoonish flair.
Google did not mention when the new colorful weather cards will rollout to all users.
