Inbox by Gmail is getting a new update that will make it easy for users to find important information which is buried inside your emails. The app is getting ‘answers at glance’ and ‘streamlined search results’.
First up, Inbox by Gmail is taking up the card approach from Google Now and will show you the top of search results in form of cards. Now when you search for a frequent flyer number or shipping status, Inbox will show the most important information at the top of the search results. You can search for addresses, phone numbers, membership numbers, flights, events, bills, package tracking and more instantly with this new addition.
The app will even offer an organized list of email results under the cards for further assistance. Last month, Inbox by Gmail received was updated with easier trip sharing, better attachments and couple of other features.
