We have seen a number of leaks and detailed reports about the specifications of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Today, popular tipseter Evan Blass aka @evleaks has shared press render of the upcoming flagship phones from Samsung.
As per the render, the S7 and S7 edge sport a design similar to their predecessors Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. Although the front of the phone looks similar to last years Galaxy line, the home button that comes baked with fingerprint sensor has become bigger and more rectangular. Moreover, the front facing camera module also looks big. The Galaxy S7 edge is bigger than the S7 which is line with previous reports that said the S7 will sport a 5.1 inch flat display while the S7 Edge will have the 5.5 inch dual-curved display. Also seen in the images is the micro USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom.
Blass had mentioned in an earlier report that Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will come with support for micro SD card and also be water resistance. Both the phones are said to be powered by company’s new octa-core Exynos 8890 processor however depending upon some markets, some models may feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor. The phones will come with 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage. Samsung is expected to announce the phones next month.
