LeEco (formerly Letv) launched the Le 1s smartphone in India at a competitive price tag of Rs. 10,999 at an event last week. We already checked out the phone at the announcement in China back in October last year. We finally managed to get hold of the smartphone, here is the unboxing.

We have the Chinese unit here, so the box contents might be different in the Indian unit.
The Le 1s has a 5.5-inch 1080p in-cell display with 500nits brightness. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2GHz per core, has 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop) with LeEco’s own EUI 5.5 on top. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the front with Samsung S5K5E2 sensor and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
On the back it has a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Samsung ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, 4K video recording at 30 fps and 720p at 120 fps. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back that can unlock in just under 0.1 seconds. The phone has full metal unibody design and is just 7.5mm thick. It has 32GB of internal storage, but lacks a a microSD card slot. It has dual SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity and packs a 3000mAh battery with fast charging support.
The LeEco Le 1s will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart through flash sales starting from February 2nd. We will bring you the benchmarks, gaming review and more in coming days.
