Google is out with its Android distribution data for the month of February. Marshmallow is now finally present on 1.2% of devices, up from 0.7% since last month. The latest version of Android had debuted the distribution chart in November last year with 0.3%.
Meanwhile, Lollipop adoption is increasing and has reached 34.1% up from 32.6% last month. KitKat is still leading with 35.5% of Android devices but down from 36.1% since last month. Jelly Bean on the other hand is still going strong and is present onĀ 23.9% of devices down from 24.7%. Finally, market share of Ice Cream Sandwich, Gingerbread and Froyo stands at 2.5%, 2.7% and 0.1% respectively. It looks like Froyo will be taken down from these charts after one or two months. However, it looks like Marshmallow adoption is crawling compared to that of Lollipop.
