Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge pass through FCC

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge recently passed the 3C certification in China and now, they have passed through the FCC regulatory authority in USA.

The model numbers that passed through the FCC are SM-G930A and SM-G935A for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge respectively. Unfortunately, there are no images of either device on the FCC website but we do get a few information regarding the connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Dual-Band Wi-Fi and NFC.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will be announced next month on 21st February in Barcelona, Spain just before MWC 2016. Reports indicate that both the phones will go on sale as early as March 11th in Europe and USA and the phones passing through the FCC could just be a confirmation for the same.

There will be two variants for each smartphone, each running on both Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820. However, it remains to be seen which variant will be available in which country. We will know for sure in less than 3 weeks.
