Microsoft has updated its Bing Search app for Android and iPhone. The new Android app now offers snapshots of information, available on-tap and in-context, while using other apps. This feature was already available for iPhone. Both the apps also get new features such as barcode scanner that lets you compare product prices from online catalogs of major retailers and GasBuddy feature to find cheapest gas in your area.
The iPhone app has dedicated deals experience that lets you browse deals, offers and coupons by various categories. This feature will be available for the Android app soon. Check out the complete changelog below.
New features in Bing for Android v6.0

- Gas prices: Now you’ll see gas price data for gas stations nearby so you can save on gas!
- Pins: pin your frequent and favorite bookmarks to the Today feed, so you can navigate to your favorite sites faster.
