One photo was posted on Weibo by a user JKwan while another one was obtained by reviewdao.vn. The Galaxy S7 edge photo from Weibo shows the front side of the phone with 5.5 inch dual curved display. Galaxy S7 edge that was accidentally leaked last week is also seen running a benchmark app that lists the device as SM-G9350 and scores 134,704 points. As per earlier reports the Galaxy S7 edge will sport a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, carrying a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution. It will be powered by company’s new octa-core Exynos 8890 processor however depending upon some markets, some models may feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor. It will come with 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB storage option and micro SD card.

The second image leaked is that of the Galaxy S7 and shows the back of the phone. Although the image does not offer much it shows the slimmer camera bump and curved edges that have been rumored for some time. The report also claims that the S7 will have a 12MP Britecell rear camera sensor. The glass back and metallic frame instead of an aluminium one is also visible. However, there is a possibility that the photo is a prototype and the final product could be different. Finally, fast charging time on the S7 said to be of 0 to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Moving on, it also seems like Samsung has applied a patent application with the USTPO and requested to trademark the term ‘Always On Mode‘. It is touted that the feature uses just one percent of charge from the battery every hour. All the features and specs of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will be confirmed in two more weeks.
