After the Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G and Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G last year, the Moto G (3rd gen) and Moto G Turbo Edition are also available for purchase from Amazon.in in India and are not exclusive to Flipkart anymore. The Moto G (3rd gen) was launched back in July last year and the Moto G Turbo Edition was launched in December last year.
Both these pack a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, have a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 1080p video recording, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity, IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and a 2,470 mAh battery. The Moto G Turbo has a faster Snapdragon 615 processor and comes with Turbo Charging capabilities.
Both these were launched running Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) and got Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update in India recently. Last month Moto G (3rd gen) and Moto G Turbo Edition smartphones received a price cut by Rs. 2,000 permanently. “The Moto G range will also be available on Amazon.in, while the 8GB storage with 1GB RAM variant of the Moto G (3rd Gen) will be available by the end of the week,” said Motorola.
