Sony has launched its new compact NW-A25HN Walkman with Hi-Res digital noise canceling feature in India. It was introduced at the IFA last September. It has a 2.2-inch (320×240 pixels) QVGA TFT color LCD display and control buttons. It has Hi-Res audio and Sony’s proprietary DSEE technology to upscale compressed audio files to High-Resolution Audio and other features such as ClearAudio+, Clear Bass, Clear Phase, Dynamic Normalizer and 5 band Equalizer.
It can play FLAC, ALAC, MP3, AAC, HE-AAC, WMA, Linear PCM and AIFF files, promises up to 30 hours of battery life for Hi-Res Audio playback and up to 50 hours for MP3 playback.
