Xiaomi launched its Mi Band in India back in April last year for Rs. 999, later in November it launched the White LED edition with only White LED light, compared to multicolored LED lights in the original version for Rs. 799. Xiaomi has announced that starting from today, the Mi band White LED edition will be available through open sale, without registrations.
According to Xiaomi’s research most of the Mi Band users don’t change the progress light color even though there are four colors to choose, so they launched the new version with White LED at an affordable rate.
The Mi Band connects to your Android smartphones or iPhone devices via Bluetooth 4.0 low energy (BLE) and monitors your fitness and also tracks your sleep. It has IP67 ratings for water resistance and can also vibrate for waking you up in the morning without disturbing others.
