LG G5’s removable battery surfaces in new leak

A design render of the LG G5 smartphone already revealed that the flagship will have a removable battery that can be accessed from the bottom. Today a new leak from China(Via) has revealed the removable slot, which houses its battery. Even though earlier leaks revealed that the phone will have a 2800mAh battery, the latest leak claims that the G5 will have a 4000mAh battery, larger than all the earlier G series smartphones.

LG G5 is also said to come with different hardware expansion modules. A leak from earlier this week revealed a unique module that looked like a projector. The first press render of the G5 surfaced few hours back, showing off the smartphone’s curved display, dual rear cameras and metal body.

LG recently confirmed Always ON display for the G5 and also introduced a Quick Cover case with touch function for the smartphone. Earlier this week Qualcomm confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by its latest high-end Snapdragon 820 processor and LG said that it has partnered with B&O PLAY, a subsidiary of Bang & Olufsen, to offer an enhanced high-quality audio experience for the upcoming LG G5 smartphone.

We should get to know all the details about the LG G5 at the MWC 2016 announcement tomorrow at 14:00 CET (6:30 PM IST).
