ZTE Spro Plus Android powered portable projector announced

ZTE has announced a portable smart projector called as Spro Plus, its newest device in the Spro line. The Spro Plus offers voice conference, projection, touch-screen and improved visual design features. The external USB camera enables multi-party video communication via applications like Skype

The Spro Plus sports a, 8.4-inch Android AMOLED touch-screen at 2K resolution, is powered by Snapdragon 801 processor and has a 3GB of RAM, 128GB of native storage. It supports Android Marshmallow 6.0 and comes with a 12100mAH battery. The projector offers visual capabilities including vertical and horizontal keystone correction and auto focus. It uses LASER instead of LED technology to project a 300-inch sized picture onto a surface, and with 500 lumens of brightness. The Spro Plus comes with an improved projection ratio as it can project an image up to 80 inches across.

In case of audio, the Spro Plus features a JBL Audio System, which includes high quality audio outputs via two 4w speakers and a crystal clear voice pickup via high performance HARMAN sub-miniature microphones. The 5+ meter voice capability makes it easy to conduct group meetings in any location. The Spro Plus is available in both Wi-Fi only version as well as Wi-Fi and 4G LTE version. It will be available in Q2 2016
