The Redmi Note 3 has a metal body with a 5.5″ 1080p display up front that offers a 178 degree angle of view. Up front, the device largely resembles the Redmi Note smartphones of the past. There is a front facing 5 Megapixel camera with f2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording.
The build quality is notably much better than the previous generations of Redmi Note devices primarily due to the change of material used to metal. It is powered by a Snapdragon 650 processor from Qualcomm and will have 2 variants. One with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage while the other will have 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage.
It supports 4G LTE and has a Hybrid DualSIM slot that can take either one microSIM and a nanoSIM or a microSIM and a microSD card.
At the back, you have the 16 Megapixel primary camera with dual-tone LED flash and f2.0 aperture. The smartphone will run on Android Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top of it.
There is a massive 4050 mAH battery under the hood and the device supports fast charging that will charge 50% in just an hour. It will come in 3 different colours namely Dark Grey, Silver and Champagne Gold.
