Microsoft has updated its Hyperlapse app for Android that finally gets option to save the recorded videos to microSD card on compatible devices. It also gets option to save 1080p videos in compatible devices. Both these features can be enabled from the settings. If you can’t enable, then the feature is not available for your device.
The update also brings fixes to orientation issue on the Nexus 5X running on Android 6.0.1 that records videos upside down. Check out the complete changelog below.

The Microsoft Hyperlapse app for Android, Windows Phone and Windows were launched back in May last year. Since the launch Microsoft Research had been adding support for more devices, fixing bugs and adding features. The latest update for the Android app is available through Google Play.
