Nokia is running a Make My App Competition where users can submit ideas . The idea I have come up with is called Nokia Auto Flight Mode
Cellphones can interfere with critical signals responsible for the smooth functioning of an aircraft.Most users forget to turn off their phones inside an aircraft although cabin crew request passengers to do so.
This idea behind this app is that phones should automatically turn off or go into flight mode during take off or landing.
The app will use parameters such Speed , Distance covered , Altitude etc to detect movement and turn off phone.
