LeEco (formerly Letv) launched the Le 1s smartphone in India at Rs. 10,999 earlier this year exclusively on Flipkart. We already brought you the unboxing, benchmarks and the battery life test results, here we have camera samples from the smartphone. The Le 1s has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF and single LED flash. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with Samsung S5K5E2 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
Coming to the image quality, daylight shots are good, but some images seem dull if the condition is not bright. Macro shots are good and focus is quick as well, thanks to PDAF. It doesn’t have HDR option. Low-light shots have noise as usual. Images with flash are good and the flash is not overpowering. The 5MP front-facing camera is just average for selfies and video chats. You can also use fingerprint sensor to capture selfies.

It can record videos at 4K (3840×2160 pixels) UHD resolution at 30 fps in .mp4 format and uses h.265 codec. Since YouTube doesn’t support h.265 yet, we have converted it using h.264. Video is pretty good with a lot of details. Audio is crisp, thanks to secondary microphone. It also has slow motion recording at 2X at 1080p and 4X at 720p HD resolution.
