Symbian today announced that Symbian^2 (S^2) platform will be running on the 4 new devices from NTT DOCOMO INC which was unveiled on 18 May 2010 viz the docomo PRIME series™ F-06B, docomo STYLE series™ F-07B and docomo STYLE series F-08B, manufactured by Fujitsu Limited and the docomo PRIME series SH-07B, manufactured by Sharp Corporation.
Apart from being the first devices to run on Symbian^2, these 4 devices also feature 13.2 megapixel camera, full HD video recording and playback, Wi-Fi access point capability and a waterproof body.

Tokyo, London and San Francisco, 1 June, 2010 – Symbian today announced that the Symbian^2 (S^2) platform is being used in four of the latest models that were unveiled by NTT DOCOMO, INC on 18 May 2010: the docomo PRIME series™ F-06B, docomo STYLE series™ F-07B and docomo STYLE series F-08B, manufactured by Fujitsu Limited and the docomo PRIME series SH-07B, manufactured by Sharp Corporation. These models offer a range of advanced features including a 13.2 megapixel camera, full HD video recording and playback, Wi-Fi access point capability and waterproof body. The docomo STYLE series F-07B is the world’s first device based on the Symbian^2 platform in the market place, shipped in Japan on 21 May.
Symbian^2 was the first version of the platform to be released after the Symbian Foundation was established last year. It extends a number of features, including home screen support for embedded widgets, flexible support for different form factors and input methods, and an improved location event framework.
