Google Search gets a voice makeover to sound more human-like

Google Search is getting a voice makeover. The robotic voice behind the digital voice assistant is now becoming more human-like.

Google is rolling out a brand new voice for Google Search app on Android and iOS which sounds more natural, smoother and basically less robotic. It brings a tinge of subtle natural tone while answering your queries. The voice now features intonation and brings smoother pitching from low to high.

Nat and Lo, a series based on two Googlers have released two videos that show behind the scenes to experience voice. The videos offer insights about basic units of sound that help create a word. They talk to a voice coach and a linguist about improving voice search. Check out the videos below to know more about Gogole’s new voice behind the popular Search app.
