Samsung launched the Galaxy J3 (2016), it’s latest 4G smartphone with new S bike mode in India for Rs. 8,990 yesterday. We have already seen the unboxing of the phone and now let’s take a detailed look at the hardware and specifications of the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 Pixels) HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 processor with Mali-400 GPU. Running Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS, the phone comes with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB with microSD.
At the front the phone has Samsung branding in the center and an earpiece. Also present is the 5MP camera and proximity sensor, but lacks ambient light sensor.
It has the usual signature home button below the display along with menu and back capacitive touch buttons on either sides. These are not backlit.
The volume control button is situated on the left side.
On the right side we have the power button. The device measures 142.3 x 71x 7.9mm and weighs 138 grams.
Micro USB port is present at the bottom along with the primary microphone.
The 3.5mm audio jack is situated at the top.
The Samsung branding is present at the back along with 8MP camera with LED flash and loud speaker grill.
Under the back cover, the phone has two micro SIM card slots and a microSD card slot.
The phone has a 2600mAh battery and connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and also supports USB OTG.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) comes in Black, White and Gold colors, is priced at Rs. 8,990 and is exclusively be available through Snapdeal.
