HP has announced Spectre, which is currently the world’s thinnest laptop at just 10.4mm, thinner than 13.1mm MacBook. It has a 13.3-inch edge-to-edge 1080p scratch resistant edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass display, is powered by 6th Core i5 or i7 processors, supports up to 8GB of RAM, up to 512GB PCIe SSD, has three USB Type-C connectors, two of which support Thunderbolt. It runs on Windows 10 and has Stereo speakers by Bang & Olufsen with HP Audio Boost technology.
It has carbon fiber bottom that is both durable and lightweight, so the laptop weighs just 1.1 kilograms. It has high gloss copper accents with hand-polished, jewelry-like finish and an innovative hidden piston hinge. It has a hybrid battery split into two thinner pieces that promises up to 9 and half hours of battery life.
The HP Spectre starts at $1,169.99 (Rs. 77,810 approx.) and will be available on pre-order on HP.com and BBY.com on April 25. It will be available in Best Buy stores on May 22 with a starting price at $1,249.99.
