Motorola today announced the MILESTONE XT720 in UK and is calling it one of the world’s slimmest 8 Megapixel Android phones. We already told you it’s the first Android phone to feature a Xenon Flash.
This Milestone is sleek at 10.9mm and uses a huge 3.7 inch 480X854 pixel capacitive touch screen display. It runs on Android 2.1 with Motorola’s Touch UI but a upgrade to FroYo is not known. Motorola also admitted that this device is pretty close to the Motoroi which was launched in Korea recently.
The MILESTONE XT720 offers a 8 megapixel camera with Xenon flash, 10x digital zoom, and a 720p HD Video recording.
The phone comes with a HDMI cable in the box which allows you to share HD video captured on the MILESTONE XT720 to be viewed directly on an a HDTV. Memory card is expandable up to 32GB while a 8GB microSD card is included in the box.
The browser supports up to eight windows.
The phone comes loaded with a suite of Google mobile applications such as Search,Maps.Gmail and YouTube. It also features MOTONAV turn by turn navigation.
