LeEco Le Max 2 Photo Gallery

LeEco announced Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 smartphones today at an event in China. We are live at the event and got our hands on the Le Max 2 so let’s take a detailed look at the specifications and hardware in this photo gallery.

The phone has a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display with 95% NTSC color gamut, 450nits brightness and is powered by a 2.15GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU. Running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EUI 5.8, the phone comes with 4GB DDR4 RAM with 32GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage or 4GB / 6GB DDR4 RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.0) internal memory options. The device sports a 8MP front facing camera, earpiece and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors on the top.

The Dual nano SIM card slot is present on the left side of the phone.

The power/lock key and volume rockers are present on the right side.

The phone comes with new Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) audio standard for loss-less audio through USB Type-C port and doesn’t have 3.5mm audio jack.

On the top the phone has an infrared sensor. The phone measures 156.8 × 77.6 × 7.99mm and weighs 185 grams.

There is a 21MP rear camera with dual-tone, LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, PDAF, OIS, 6P lenses, f/2.0 aperture. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is present just below the camera module.

The new LeEco branding is present at the lower back of the device. The phone comes with 3100mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac/a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.

The LeEco Le Max 2 is priced at 2099 yuan (US$ 324 / Rs. 21,460 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage variant, 2299 yuan (US$ 355 / Rs. 23,500 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant and 2499 yuan (US$ 386 / Rs. 25,550 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. It is now available for pre-order in China and will be go on sale starting from April 26th.
