Earlier this week, Google officially launched Play Music podcast for Android and Web. Now, the company is making it easier for users to search them via Google App.
Users can now search and play podcasts directly from Google’s Android app. While searching for a podcast, the search results will show three recent episodes of the podcast which will be accompanies by a play button for each. Also present will be an option to see more episodes. Podcasts are available globally in English
The play/pause, rewind or fast-forward buttons are present at the bottom of the screen and they will let you browse the web on your phone while you listen to podcast. This means the podcast will keep playing in the background even if you lock the screen.
