LG’s two upcoming K series smartphones have been spotted online in a listing by a benchmark database website. The purported listing by the Geekbench for two LG devices – the LG-K530 and the LG-K535 – doesn’t reveal full specifications, but suggests that it could be the successor to existing K10 smartphone.
The LG K530 is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz, according to the listing. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 officially has 1.2GHz clock speed, so this seems like an error in the benchmark. Other than that the smartphone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is backed by 2GB of RAM.
The LG-K535 is expected to be a variant of the K530. It is found listed as ‘0’ Mhz speed with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 Soc, but this has a bumped 3GB (2904MB) of RAM.
We are not sure what these two models will be called, but guessing by these purported specifications, both of these seems like an upgrade to the existing K10. The company recently launched K7 LTE and K10 LTE smartphones in India with VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) and VoWiFi (Voice Over Wi-Fi) support. These are priced at Rs. 9,500 and Rs. 13,500, respectively.
