Smartron, an IoT company which received investment from Sachin Tendulkar recently launched its t.book 12.2-inch 2-in-1. It already promised to launch its t.phone, it’s first smartphone with a 5.5-inch screen at a separate event in Hyderabad on April 18th, but it got delayed. Today the company has sent out invites for the launch of the smartphone on May 19th.
The company claims that it is the world’s lightest 5.5-inch smartphone. The phone is said to come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, powered by Snapdragon 810 SoC with 3GB of RAM, run Android 5.1 (Lollipop), come with a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 4-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB of internal storage with expansion slot and dual SIM support.
We should get to all the details about the smartphone, including the price at the launch event next Thursday. The company is also planning to open its own tstore soon to sell its products.
