Samsung Gear Fit 2 surfaced in live images last month, later the fitness tracker appeared on the official website, along with the Gear IconX Bluetooth earbuds. Now a new report from Korea say that Samsung will introduce the Gear Fit 2 in the home country as early as next month. The report also says that it will include Samsung’s own Bio-Processor chip that was introduced few months back. This chip has integrated Analog Front Ends (AFE) to measures body fat, skeletal muscle mass, heart rate, heart rhythm, skin temperature and stress level.
It is expected to come with a 1.84-inch AMOLED display, 4GB of internal storage and GPS support for tracking fitness activities. It is likely d to come with IP68 ratings for water resistance to use it while swimming. Complete specifications of the tracker are not available yet.
The Samsung Gear Fit 2 will come in black, pink, and blue colors, according to a recent press image revealed by @evleaks. We should know more details about it in the coming weeks.
