Lenovo launched Zuk Z1 smartphone in India earlier this week for Rs. 13,499. We already reviewed the white version of the phone running ZUI last year. We have got our hands on the dark grey variant of the phone running Cyanogen OS 12.1. So let’s take a detailed look at the hardware and specifications of the phone in this photo gallery.
The ZUK Z1 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display and is powered by a 2.5GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. Running Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Andriod 5.1.1 (Lollipop), the phone comes with 3GB LPPDR3 RAM, 64GB (eMMC 5.0) internal memory. The phone is upgradable to Cyanogen OS 13 based on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow).
It has a 8MP front-facing camera, OmniVision OV8865 sensor, 1.12um pixel size. There is an earpiece at the center as well as the ambient light and proximity sensors.
At the bottom, the phone has a physical home button with two capacitive touch buttons on either side.
Power button and volume rockers are present on the right side. The device measures 155.7 x 77.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs 175g. The left side houses the dual SIM card slot which is a dual Nano SIM tray.
The USB Type C port, loudspeaker grill and microphone is present at the bottom. You can also see the cutouts for antenna bands.
A 3.5mm audio headphone jack is present at the top along with cutouts for the antenna.
A secondary microphone is present between the camera lens and flash while the ZUK branding at the bottom.
There is a 13 Megapixel camera with OIS and dual LED flash at the back.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / GLONASS, USB 3.0 Type-C. It has a 4100mAh battery with fast charging.
