Moto G (4th Gen) surfaces in press image and benchmark, passes through FCC

Motorola Moto G (4th Gen) surfaced in hands-on video last month, now the live image for the smartphone has surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. This shows a similar design as the Plus variant of the Moto G, but this lacks a fingerprint sensor below the display.

The Moto G (4th Gen) with model number XT1622 and the Moto G / G4 Plus with model number XT1642 have been certified by the FCC. The Moto G4 has also surfaced in Geekbench listing that reveals a Snapdragon 617 SoC and 3GB of RAM, while earlier rumors said that it would come with a Snapdragon 430 SoC.

According to earlier rumors, both the phones are expected to come with  a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, pack 3000mAh battery, come with a 13MP (Moto G4) / 16MP (Moto G4 Plus) rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, 5MP front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor, dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity.

We should know all the details about the smartphone at the launch next Tuesday. Motorola recently confirmed that the smartphones will be exclusive to Amazon.in.
