Microsoft is expected to launch Windows Anniversary update on July 29. The company had released Windows 10 Threshold on July 29, 2015.
A leaked screenshot of the timeline has surfaced that shows an RTM+90 period or 90 days after RTM launch, that starts July 29 and ends October 28. The “Windows 10 Anniversary Update” will bring improvements to the Hello login feature and the Cortana voice assistant. Conitnnum will get support for touch-enabled external screens and it will be able to send the image to screens connected to a Windows 10 PC.
One of the most important additions to the update is the improved stylus support as Windows Ink, which enables you to write on your device as you do on paper, creating sticky notes, drawing on a whiteboard. Earlier this month, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 is running on 300 million devices. Windows 10 will be free to upgrade for existing users of Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 till July 29th, 2016. Windows 10 is available in different editions – Home, Pro, Enterprise and Education. It must be noted that it is not confirmed yet if the Windows 10 anniversary update will launch on July 29.
