OnePlus is all set to introduce the flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone in a VR event next month. Specifications of the smartphone had already surfaced in benchmarks. Now @evleaks has posted that it will come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, compared to earlier rumors that said that it might have a 5 or a 5.2-inch screen. Other specs include, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, 64GB storage, 16MP rear camera and NFC that coincide with earlier leaks.

It will likely run Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with OxygenOS on top. According to screenshot, OnePlus is testing Android N preview build on the smartphone with OxygenOS 3.1 so there are chances for the company might release Android N for the OnePlus 3 soon after the release.
OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu aka Pete Lau has posted an image taken using the OnePlus 3’s camera. This shows the resolution of the image as 2,448 x 3,264 pixels, which confirms it will come with a 8MP sensor. He shared the rear camera sample recently.
