YU today launched the YU YUNICORN smartphone. We have already seen unboxing of the phone and now let’s take a detailed look at hardware and specifications of the phone in this photo gallery.
YU YUPHORIA sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 450 cd/m2 brightness. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali T860 GPU. The phone runs Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and comes with 4GBRAM, 32GB internal storage and also has expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD.
It has a 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, 4P lens. An earpiece and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensor are also present at the front.
A physical home button is present below the display that comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor. There are three on screen touch buttons .
The power/lock button and volume rockers are present on the right side of the phone. The phone measures 75.4×153.3×8.5 mm and weighs 172 grams.
The left side of the phone houses a hybrid Dual SIM (nano+nano/microSD) slot.
On top we have the 3.5mm audio headphone jack and a microphone.
Loudspeaker grill and microphone are present on the bottom along with the micro USB port.
At the back you have 13MP camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens and PDAF. The phone has a brushed aluminium back which gives it a premium look
.
The YU branding is present at the lower back of the phone.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery. The YU YUNICORN comes in rush silver, graphite and limited edition rush gold color and is priced at Rs. 12,999. It will be exclusively available from Flipkart through flash sale starting from June 7th.
