Apple iOS 10 beta lets you uninstall built-in apps

Apple announced iOS 10 beta yesterday with a number of new features and improvements yesterday at WWDC. However, one of the important features of the latest iOS version was not mentioned at the keynote.

iOS 10 beta app will give you more control over app management on your iPhone or iPad devices. For the first time, users can now delete unwanted built-in apps on iOS devices. Stock apps like Weather, Watch, Voice Memos, Videos, Tips, Stocks, Reminders, Podcasts, Notes, Music, Maps, Mail, iTunes Store, FaceTime, Contacts, Compass, Calendar, and Calculator can be deleted and downloaded later. When you remove a built-in app from your Home screen, you also remove any related user data and configuration files. This can affect things like related system functions or information on your Apple Watch.

If you remove the Contacts app from an iPhone, you won’t lose your contact information and find all of that information in the Phone app. In case of you remove the Music app you it will be available with Car Play. Check out Apple’s support page for more details about the feature.
