OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone a few hours back. We already brought you the review of the smartphone. Here we have the battery life test results of the phone. It packs a 3,000mAh built-in battery and also comes with new Dash charge technology that can charge the phone up to 63% in just 30 minutes using the bundled Dash Charge charger(5V-4A). The phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, is powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Oxygen OS. Check out the test results.
Talk Time
It lasted for 25 hours and 4 minutes in our talk time test, which is less than the OnePlus 2.
3G Browsing
It lasted for 6 hours and 42 minutes in our 3G Browsing test, similar to the Xiaomi Mi 5.
WiFi Browsing
It lasted for 8 hours and 21 minutes in our WiFi Browsing test, again almost similar to the Mi 5.
Video Playback
It lasted for 14 hours and 13 minutes in our video playback test, better than both the OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2.
Charging Time
In the charge test, it took just 46 minutes to charge the phone using the bundled Dash Charger. This might vary for other chargers.
We will add the standby test results soon. It achieved a One Charge Rating of 13 hours and 44 minutes, which is better than OnePlus One and Oneplus 2’s Charge Rating of 10:12 hours and 7.41 hours, respectively. Check out our battery life test procedure, to know more about our tests in detail.
