Misfit partnered with Speedo last year to launch Speedo Shine with activity, swim, and sleep tracking. Now it has introduced Shine 2 Swimmer’s Edition, powered by Speedo.
It has proprietary lap counting algorithms that track a swimmer’s lap count with pinpoint accuracy across all stroke types. It offers accurate total swim distance, and lets you set a workout timer that buzzes you when your countdown is complete. You can track swim training data with the Misfit app, or with Speedo’s personalized swim-tracking app, Speedo Fit.
It has durable aircraft-grade aluminum and similar specifications as the Shine 2 that includes 12 LEDs that tell time, each displaying over 16 million potential colors, 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis magnetometer for advanced activity, sleep and swim tracking. It takes a coin cell that promises up to 6 months of battery life.
It offers vibration notifications for calls and texts alerts, smart alarms, and movement reminders. You can also pair it with Misfit Link to control music, lighting, and a wide range of connected home devices, including Nest.
The Misfit Shine 2 Swimmer’s Edition is priced at $119.99 (Rs. 8,110 approx.). You can also get swim tracking and lap counting features on Misfit Shine 2 or Misfit Ray with an in-app upgrade for $9.99.
