Just yesterday Instagram revealed that it has over 500 million monthly active users and 300 million daily users. Now the popular photo sharing site has announced that it will soon a translation feature for the app.
Instagram says it will add a in-app translation that will automatically translate text such as comments and descriptions. The translation button will be seen next to feed stories and profile bios that are present in a different language, says Instagram. The latest translation feature brings Instagram in line with other social networks like Twitter and Facebook that have been offering automatic translation for some time now.
An in-app translation will be a welcome move for many Instagram user as over 80% of its users are from outside the US.
