WhatsApp for iPhone will get a long due awaited feature soon. The app is working on adding the ability for users to share and listen to music.
A German site Macerkopf (via) has shared screenshots of the latest feature that lets you share a song from your device or from Apple Music. The recipient will see small music player icon along with the album art and you can tap that to listen to it. The sender as well as the recipient needs to be a paid subscriber of Apple Music in order to send a song from the music app.
Next up, WhatsApp will soon let you send bigger emojis that were introduced as a new feature with iOS 10. In addition, the app is set to get public group invites and a Twitter-like mentions feature that will let users tag any contact from their address book in a chat.
