Honor 8 with 5.2-inch 1080p display, dual 12MP rear cameras to be announced on July 11

Huawei’s Honor brand has finally announced that it will unveil its Honor 8 smartphone at an event in China on July 11th, after it surfaced in several leaks in the past few days. The phone got certified in by TENAA in China earlier this week that confirmed that design and the specifications of the phone. Even the invite highlights dual rear cameras of the smartphone.

The Honor 8 event on July 11th starts at 6:30 PM China Time (4:00 PM IST) and happens in Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. It is rumored to be priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 304 / Rs. 20,460 approx.) for the base variant and go up to 2799 (US$ 425 / Rs. 28,652 approx.) for the 128GB variant with a Quad HD display. We should know all the details about the phone in less than couple of weeks.
