Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) with Smart Glow detailed ahead of next week’s launch

Press shot of the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) (SM-J210F )with Smart Glow notification ring surfaced earlier this week, now @evleaks has got hold of detailed specifications of the phone that reveals a 5-inch HD AMOLED screen, 1.5GB of RAM and a 2600mAh battery. Other specifications such as Spreadtrum SC8830 SoC, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel rear camera were revealed in a earlier benchmark leak.

As we already know from earlier leak, the Smart Glow notification LED can be configured by users to display priority notifications of different colors, based on the type of notifications such as phone call, e-mail, text message etc. The light ring will also light up when the battery is low and it will work as a guide when taking selfies with the rear camera by turning blue when the user’s face is in the field of view.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) is expected to be announced as early as Monday and is rumored to be priced around $150 (Rs. 10,100 approx.). We will have to wait for few more days to find out the price and availability of the phone.
