Microsoft’s Conditional Action Programmer (CAP) is the new IFTTT competitor

Microsoft had launched Flow in April this year which was its own version of IFTTT (If This Then That) tool. Now, the company has introduced another IFTTT competitor that is dubbed as Conditional Action Programmer (CAP).

One of the important feature of CAP is that it supports voice commands. You can create various tasks using CAP which is an experimental project from Microsoft Technology and Research. It is linked with services like Office Pocket, SMS, Stocks, Weather, Office 365 email, and OneDrive for Business. CAP uses natural language processing from its LUIS porject for creating tasks. For example you can say or write”Text me the forecast every week” and “Save article to pocket”.

The CAP website says it available as an app for Android via Google Play, as well as on the Web. However, we were unable to find the app on the Play Store.
