Twitter for Web gets 72 new emojis from Unicode 9.0

Last month, Unicode Standard released the Version 9.0 collection of 72 new emojis.  Now, Twitter for Web is getting support for these new emojis,

Emojis like facepalm, black heart, pregnant women, ROFL, nauseated face, lying face, drooling face, selfie, man dancing and others have made it to the new list. In addition, there is also support for skin tones on these new emojis.

All of these new emojis are now available on Twitter.com and will soon coming to TweetDeck. Unfortunately, they are not available for Twitter on mobile apps yet. In order to use these emojis on Twitter for web, you will have to copy and paste them using the text field. It must be noted that if you send one of the new Unicode 9 emojis using Twitter.com, your followers may only see a question mark box if they are accessing Twitter from Tweetdeck or any of the Twitter apps.
