Asus Zenfone Max (2016) Battery Life Test

Asus launched the new Zenfone Max in May starting at Rs. 9,999. We recently brought you the review of the phone, here we have the battery life test results of the new Zenfone Max. It packs a 5000mAh built-in battery, has a 5.5-inch HD screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).  Check out the test results below.

Talk Time

It lasted for 33 hours and 19 minutes in our talk time test.

3G Browsing

It lasted for 11 hours and 8 minutes in our 3G browsing test.

WiFi Browsing

It lasted for 14 hours and 13 minutes in our WiFi browsing test and lies behind the Lenovo Vibe P1m.

Video Playback

It lasted for 20 hours and 3 minutes in our video playback test.

Charging Time

It posted a charging time of 4 hours and 40 minutes since it lacks support for fast charging.

Standby Time

It lasted for 51 days in our standby test.

Overall it achieved One Charge Rating of 19 hours and 59 minutes, which is expected for a phone with a 5000mAh battery. Check out our battery life test procedure, to know more about our tests in detail.
