If you simply play a video, you can still download it during playback by tapping the download icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Once downloaded these videos can be watched offline. Videos can be downloaded to your internal storage or SD card. This feature works on video websites without their own built-in media players.
In addition to support for video downloads, the browser also gets a new start page with content from Bollywood Hungama and Sportskeeda in India.

Commenting on the new Opera Mini features, Sunil Kamath, Vice President for South & Southeast Asia at Opera, said:
India is the largest market for Opera and we are working consistently towards bringing users’ favourite content closer to them. It is only in India that we are partnering with local content providers, such as Bollywood Hungama.
Speed is of utmost importance for users on slower mobile networks. To improve the video watching experience, first we added the video boost feature, which compresses videos and reduces buffering. With today’s launch, we add a video download option so that users can enjoy their videos any time, even when they are offline. This new version will provide a more engaging browsing experience to users.
