Nexbit Robin Ember Photo Gallery

Last week, Nextbit introduced the Ember color variant of the Robin smartphone. We have got our hands on the Ember variant of the Robin so let’s take a quick look at specs and hardware of the phone in this photo gallery.

Nextbit has been great with colors of Robin as we have seen the device in Mint and Midnight colors. The Ember variant also looks great. Robin sports a 5.2-inch  (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with Adreno 418 GPU. Running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), the phone comes with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and 100GB online storage option.

Robin backs up apps and photos and intelligently archives the stuff that are not frequently used and easily restores items when you need them by merging cloud and on-board storage.

At the front the 5-megapixel front facing camera with earpiece combined with speaker, ambient light and proximity sensors. The sensors in black stand out nicely on top of the red background.

There is another speaker below the display on the bezel. As you can see, it has red on the top and bottom part.

On the right there is a elongated power button with red finish that comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor. The SIM card slot is present on the right side.

The round volume rocker buttons are present on the left side of the phone. However the button are not red.

USB Type-C port and microphone are present at the bottom. The device measures 149mm x 72mm x 7mm. There is a 3.5mm audio jack on the top with secondary microphone.

There is a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone flash at the back. A cloud sign is also there which is followed by four tiny lights on the back that let you know that Robin is syncing to the cloud.

This limited edition variant has a black back with bright red end caps. The Nextbit branding is present on the left. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11a/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and NFC.  The phone comes with a 2,680 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.

The Nextbit Robin Ember variant will go on sale India this week in limited numbers through Flipkart for Rs. 19,999.
