Last week, Nexus 6 owners worldwide were facing LTE issues and Google had promised that it is working on a fix for the issue. The company has kept its promise and has announced that is has resolved the problem.
Orrin, a Google employee has posted on r/Nexus6 and the Nexus Help Forum that the issue at hand has been fixed. Apparently, GPS was causing the data connection problem on Nexus6 devices that was resulting into failing cellular connectivity. Google recommends that users reboot their device and see if the fix takes hold afterwards.
Users from the US, Canada, Australia, Finland, The Netherlands, Sweden, Mexico, Germany, and Hong Kong were reporting LTE outages. The issue was reportedly not limited to a specific carrier.
